WHY DID THE HOLY PROPHET MIGRATE TO MADINAH ?


Allah sent down the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a Last and Final Messenger for the humans, who will come to earth until the Day of Judgment. He was born in Makkah in 571 A.D and belonged to the famous tribe of Quraysh. He was famous for his honesty and truthfulness and He was professionally merchant.

For His honesty, Hazrat Khadijah (R.A) was offered to work for her, she was very rich women in that era and after her husband died, she was managed her business. Then after some time, she got married to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), she was 40 years old and He was just 25 years old. When he was started the preaching of Islam, He faced many problems and after some time, Hazrat Khadijah (R.A) and Uncle, Abu Talib were passed away. A delegation from Madinah came to Holy Prophet (PBUH) and invited Him to serve as the leading arbitrator for the whole community. That time, Madinah was known as a Yathrib and Arab and Jewish was fighting with each other. The delegation promised themselves and their fellow-inhabitants to accept Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) into their society and physically guard him as one of themselves.
After that, in 622 A.D, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ordered his supporters to migrate from Makkah to Madinah. Kafir of Makkah decided to kill the Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) but, they couldn’t because He was with Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) and were hidden in the cave.
After the journey of 8 days, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) entered into Quba that was near to Madinah. There was He built the first Islamic Mosque that is known as Masjid e Quba. He stayed 14 days in Quba and then went to Madinah and reached there.
So, this is a small description about Why did the Holy Prophet Migrate to Madinah, we must read the full history of Islam and Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as He is our Prophet and we are Ummah of Him.
